Schools of the Future: Essential Capacities for the 21st Century

By ,

Schools of the FutureThank you for visiting the Ethical Literacy Learning Community. The Institute for Global Ethics’ Ethical Literacy Learning Community wants to support your efforts to build the Essential Capacities for the 21st Century featured in the National Association of Independent Commission on Accreditation report, “A Guide to Becoming a School of the Future.” Through a focus on ethics your school can begin to approach many of the essential capacities.

The following table highlights the ways the Ethical Literacy Learning Community can support your work on developing the Essential Capacities. Ideally, your school would join the community as an Ethical Literacy School to empower a team who, in turn, would focus on building a school culture of integrity, while developing these Essential Capacities. Don’t worry; if you can’t join as an Ethical Literacy school now, there are still plenty of free resources available to get started today.
